Looking for the best way to mount a pole (like a closet pole) just inside the top of the topper behind the window hinge. I want to mount some work lights and a fan, so it needs to be strong/stable enough to handle a couple pounds of weight. Any ideas? The interior is carpeted.
Edit:
Looking at it more I think my best option that isn't permanent would be to buy a pair of clamps that hold the topper onto the truck bed, position them close to the topper door and then use the bolt as an attachment point. Does anyone have any ideas where/what type of steel stock I can get to form an upside down "U" at the back of the truck? Preferably it'd be square 1". I can cut the proper angles and then have a buddy weld it up.
