I've been reading through many threads and just haven't found the answer I wanted. Everyone has their own opinions on what they want obviosly so I I'm just looking for advice, it could be just leave stock we'll see. But really I just want to upgrade my muffler to be a little more aggressive. However I DO NOT want drone in my cab when driving. Should I just do something like a DOD18M?

if you don't want ANY noise in the cabin, then don't change your exhaust.

If you're willing to deal with a little noise in the cabin and a little improvement in exterior sound, get the 18.

Personally, I think my 14 is really not bad at all drone-wise (a little in MDS at 1600rpm), and it sounds incredible on the outside.

The problem you're gonna have with your question is it's completely subjective, and everyone's ears are different.

A little more cabin noise isn't gonna kill me, it's the constant drone I'm worried about. I just don't want to have to deal with it if I end up driving long distances and can barely think with the constant drone. I had a 350z before with an exhaust and that's how it was. I dont' want that again. But I want my Hemi to sound mean too :)

I know I'm a random person on the internet, but trust me on this one. Get the 14.

I was on the fence between the 18 and the 14 until I picked up BLKMGIC's 14 (he got the delete...that would be too loud for me). I've had it on the truck for a couple weeks now and it's PERFECT.

Even when it's at it's worst, the drone is easily overpowered by the radio and the AC when it's running. Or, if you're at low speed or don't mind the wind, drop the windows and the drone goes away and all you hear is that hemi.

Seriously. The 14 is the best sound-for-dollar improvement out there if you're not wanting to go crazy like the muffler delete.

I have never "experinced" drone in a vehicle except for an old escort GT that had the crappy flex elbow that liked to rust out. I liked mine when it was straight piped no drone and all mean, but ND law says I have to have one if it came with one. So I went with an SW catback and I'm betting the 14 would sound like it but a little more tame at partial throttle. I say get the 14 make the hemi roar.

get the magnaflow 14. it is worth it. i had a muffler delete and will never do it again. 14" magna flow keeps enough back pressure and also gives a good sound and great flow in the exhaust.
