Music sounds like crap

Hi All, I am a new Ram owner. 2019 1500 Bighorn .. love the truck but do not get why the truck stereo sounds like garbage. Its the standard system with 8.4 screen.. My Eq bass is like 3 under zero and treble is way up,, still way to much bass.. what gives?
Is this the same issue the 2018's were having I read about and still no resolve?

Sadly, no time from Uconnect on a fix for it. Sounds like mud now

Note that OP has a 2019, I dont think its the same issue as the 2018s with the terrible UConnect update.

Check your audio setting and make sure "Loudness" is turned on. I stumbled across this last night and made a world of difference for me

Loudness is on,, that just increases Bass at lower volumes. I don't think its normal to have Bass setting well below your flat line and still have way to much Bass with Treble all the way up as well. Never in my 30 years of driving have I had Eq set that way and still have to much Bass. yeah its sounds like mud

It sounds like you have the same problem as I (and thousands of others) do with the 2018. Check your software version. Complain to UConnect. Complain to Ram Customer Care.
