The weather finally broke out here on Long Island so my friend and I were able to get together and take the time to get our trucks cleaned up and debadged, so I wanted to share some pictures that we took. My truck is the blue CC with 22" R/T wheels and the grey QC with 22" SRT wheels belongs to my good friend. Also if anyone here is from LI NY feel free to introduce yourself, as I would love to join up with any local clubs that you guys know of or are in, or maybe would like to get our own club going.
Im debating on taking off the mirror covers and steps, so any thoughts would be appreciated. I was thinking of lowering the truck but I've decided to just leave it stock height and get larger tires to fill up the wheel wells a little more. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

I've been going back and forth on the choice between chrome and black srt's for my gray '06. After the pics... CHROME it is!! Good lookin trucks.

Honestly Im not sure on the weight difference between the two wheels. They didn't feel significantly different when I changed them and the truck really doesn't feel that much different in the way that it drives.


And yea Im a total fan of the chrome SRT wheels, I think they look awesome on any truck they are on.

R/T wheels are lighter but I believe the tires may be heavier. A R/T wheel with tire weighs around 70 pounds for reference
