I've had a couple of newer vehicles, and a camaro I restored get hit with similar damage. The camaro was hit by a DUI, and the two newer vehicles were non insured.
Problem is after I know they have been damaged, even after they are repaired I have lost all interest and end up offing em. Don't know why, I just kinda fall outa love with them.

Yea, he's in jail, pretty rough weekend, but he's safer in jail right now.

The fact that happened just completely sucks! I'm SOOO glad they got him to jail. Let him rot and find a new boyfriend there, I say.

I'll bet around here, California, he'd probably be free with a ticket that can be deferred while we all discuss how he's the true victim here. And how I can help him find a way to get insurance. And a free cell phone.

That sucks man, I feel for ya. I really wish we treated no insurance like DUIs with stiff penalties. There is just almost no incentive for low lifes to have insurance, cause even if they get in an accident they won't be on the hook for anything, except maybe a little ticket.

Thanks guys, adjuster will be here at 10-12 today. He was released yesterday with a PI and reckless driving. So basically, nothing. The cops didnt "see" him driving, so no DUI.
On the hood, after he hit me I slid off into a ditch and hit a mailbox.
So all this damage, he gets released on a PR bond.
I'm more angered that it happened, and for him, he gets a slap on the wrist. I am stuck with my truck in a shop for weeks

Makes you want to head to the bar the idiot drinks at and just beat the ever loving **** out of him. You can "slap his wrist" yourself. Wish there was a clause in our insurance policy's that said if we got into these situations we could "kick the person in the face", I'dd pay to add that to my policy.
Just a crime, your the victim and your cast aside as an afterthought. Horrible, just absolutely horrible.

Amen, well, I cant hate forever, all I can do is grab my socks and move on. Got estimate, about $4800 in damages. Now, just need to get it in the shop, will get new front facia, new cab side, and new door. Hood and rear quarter, and front quarter will be repaired.


Curious, anyone know, is the RT front facia the same as a regular Express for 2011? I mean if they are replacing it, maybe do RT front bumber cover?

Very sorry that happened. I would be a psycho and the driver would want/need to be very far away from me. It looks like almost every damn panel got damaged on the right side. No insurance?....add insult to injury.

Last year by Sport wasn't even a month old, didn't even make the 1st payment yet before some woman t-boned me in a parking garage. I was kind of a psycho when I stepped out of the Ram.

Yea, its a sad deal, buddy of mine that works in a dealers paint shop said it's an easy fix, maybe 5-6 days in the shop, good as new with new panels. Just want it fixed now so i can add my new rims on now that spring is here.
