so JJ thought it would be a good idea to put up a review on everything, which i agreed to. sorry its so long.
well i have had the privileged of owning the Night Visions 8000K 35W HID kit and the bixenon 5000k 55W kit with projectors, then of course the stock halogen lights.
Stock Halogen:
so i was able to put the stock bulbs on when i sent the new headlights back to JJ to get fixed. driving at night that week was dark! i dont see how people can drive with those lights. you can see 10ft in front of you... and the yellowish tint made the world just look dirty to me. i guess at the same time i was used to the HIDs. but i didnt like the stock halogens.
Night Vision 8000K 35W HID kit:
so i originally bought these bought these about a year ago when i was in High school. reason i bought the 8000K was because thats what was cool in the time. They were great headlights, real bright, but it would always shine in peoples cars. it seemed as if i was getting flashed at by people going the opposite way at least once a week if not more. i liked that they were bright, but at the same time hated blinding some people on the road. Then when it comes to the high beams, didnt even use them. the high beams on this kit is just a halogen attachment it seems. they were worse then the stock halogens. then on top of that, they were the halogen yellow tint color. so even if you did use them they looked odd. its a good kit, but its not the best.
Bixenon 5000K 55W kit with projectors:
first off id like to say, ive never drivin in a car with projectors. i always saw pictures of the nice clean cut off and thats when i wanted them. thought that was the coolest thing. the install was very easy of these. was just like the Night vision install, just a couple more wires. took me a while to get the aiming of the projectors just right, and i am still tweeking it here and there. the light output of these are 20X better then the Night Vision kit. and not only is it better, they dont blind people! the way i have mine aimed there is an opening where there isnt light shining in the car for the person in front of me. when there isnt anyone in front of me, the light never leaves the ground. kinda hard to explain, but all that light from the bulb is projected to where exactly where you need it. doesnt fade into the sky like the stock housing would do. you get the full effect of the lights. then when it comes to the high beams, anything in your path will look like the sun is shining on it. and it still has the nice clean cut off. it doesnt fade into the sky at all. and the cool this is, when you hit the high beams the lows are still on, unlike stock when you hit the high beams you lose the lower lighting. IMO thats a bad idea. you want all the lighting you can get when you need your Highbeams. and also, ill love these in the winter time, when the lights are on for a minute or so, the light path gets pretty hot! can use that as a hand warmer LOL. im sure you can realize that it is worth the extra money to get projectors with a bixenon kit. i dont think ill be getting rid of these ever! unless they make a brighter bulb lol.
also JJ provided very good service. i am extremely picky on where i buy from. i dont usually care on the price, what matters for me is customer service. in the end its the only thing that matters. so big thanks to JJ!!
so thats my review, sorry if its long, i talk a lot...
