Can we see the back pods with the lights off? How hard were they to wire in?

I think i did the attachment thing right, and here are the pictures of just the lights in the day time. I got a local shop to wire them into my backup. Itwas just one hour of labor.

I came from a Wrangler and I had a 50" straight mounted at the top of the windshield. Found that using the long plastic weatherstrip (that would be at the bottom of a house door) between the lower and second up fin eliminated ALL the noise. I used a piece that was 1.5" wide. I bought it at a local hardware store and it came with double sided tape. I hope this helps.

Not to steal the thread, but TRX think about attaching the flush mounted to the inside of the bumper. The Jeep I had before this I used JB Weld to 'glue' bolts to the bumper and then attach the lights. It was a slick look, especially on a black Jeep/truck!

how do you like that roof mount by diesel power gear? I'm leaning towards that one for my 54" light bar. Any leaks with from the windshield weatherstripping that had to be removed?

Haha thank you. To answer those other questions its a "Generic" light bar. I dont have the money for rigid or kc, although if i did i would get one.
Its pushing around 21000 lumens i believe. The wind noise is incredible, 5x louder than my 35 inch trail grapplers. Ill be fixing that soon with door trim on the bottom four fins. More pics,

$150, nfab's are $165. I'm not going to lie to wind noise was unbelievable, i put some door edge trim on the some of the fins, the noise and whistle has gone down about 70%.Also just around 50-60mph my windshield vibrates. Its not bad at all really, you just need to get use to it. I should have my back up pods on tomorrow. Ill have some pics :favorites13:

How and where did you run your wiring from the light bar into your truck? Did you end up drilling through your roof?

I'm selling the ones I got from Nfab. ADD makes a nice bracket. I got a set for Christmas but already bought my roof rack so I have to find a new owner for those too.

Sorry to not answer your question, i dont come on here to often. The shop ran it under my driver side window trim to my battery. I also have no leaks near the mounts. I would recommend the diesel power light bar mounts if you want a low profile light bar mount.
