My new CTD!

Well here she is... 2005 2500 CTD quad cab, 8ft bed(friggin boat) 140xxx on the ticker... white with linexed rockers. 5" turbo back exhaust, ice box CAI, 3 gauge A pillar (EGTs, boost, tranny temp), sunroof, big ass Texas style bumpers, Cooper STT tires, leveling kit, fold flat floors and still not sure if it a built tranny. I added a pic of the tranny, it looks like a deep pan. I got the number to the tranny shop that did the work, gonna call them tomorrow.

im not to sure on the trans but that looks like a regular pan to me. but idk never seen the trans on a diesel before.

Trans pan is oem just a FYI . Congrats man now bigger turbo , injectors and tuner. welcome to the ctd world

If it shifts hard that is a good sign that it has a better TQ converter. My Gorend tripple disc throws ya back on each shift. Just make sure your trans can handle it. I went with billet internals , input and output shafts and a few allison parts in mine. You have a fine truck. It needs a good trans and that is the only flaw in a CTD.

Well your right about it throwing me in my seat...its pretty amazing! I'll see what the tranny shop has to say and go from there. If they only put a few things in it then I'll have it gone threw...

And you were right...I dont even miss my Hemi lol
