It's just as it was when I drove it off the lot, tomorrow it goes for the camper shell. Yes the Clearance lights were factory installed.

Thanks.

Yes I didn't get 4x4 it was more of a want than a $5000.00 need :naughty:

Located in Cali you are probably fine without it like you mentioned...

gorgeous truck!

what are you plans for it? Not too many buy an 8' bed without a purpose!

My wife has a business and with the long bed when we goto the AERC Convention, we can load up everything she sells at the convention and with this crew-cab we can load up even more stuff.

Great looking truck!
Living in SoCal I also bought a 4x2, useing it as my DD and towing buddy.
No plans to go offroading , I would rather have a jeep or dune buggy for that :]

That is almost exactly the way I feel. Was thinking of putting the 5th Wheel or Goose neck towing option, but it was as the 4x4 was more of a want than a need, and I am putting a camper shell on it (which was completed on Friday)
This new truck was needed because my other truck was costing me almost what a truck payment is to keep it repaired and running every month, what I spent keeping it running over the last 18months. Almost a thousand bucks a month. (I believe the mechanic I was using was keeping his shop open by me paying basically his payroll.) The straw the broke the camels back, he said that the freeze plug behind the timing change cover was leaking. Only problem Ford does not put a freeze plug in the area of the timing chain :flipthebird:!

Would you believe in December I had to put a new battery in it. So I ordered the new truck on Jan 4,2016.

Next month or maybe in June we are going to get a new Jeep to have as a toad for behind our RV. And by the way, we had to replace the battery in my wife's van two days before we took delivery of the new truck.
