It was very much a pita. But indeed well worth doin.

I can't say if I'd wanna do it again though lol

Exactly what is holding me back from touching my 2014 projectors....

Mine are black with the chrome shroud. I want to paint the shroud black as well, but I just do NOT want to crack them open..... sigh...

If I do, I may as well upgrade to FX-R projectors and upgrade the led blinkers to the Diode Dynamics switchbacks..... of course, that would all run me $300.... not sure I want to do that either.

My theory now after having done it...if you take the step to open your headlights (point of no return) you might as well go all out and customize them the way you want.

Yes, once you start adding and customizing then it starts getting more expensive.

Thx..They came out better than I expected lol

I had a can of duplicolor perfect match left from when I did my mirrors.

I saw the can sitting on a shelf in my garage...that's what gave me the idea to color match'em.

I finally got a minute to take a pic...

For $40 Amazon projectors I wasn't expecting morimoto quality. The cutoff is ok...I was more concerned with not blinding other drivers. The shields are a lil bowed which causes cutoff to be bowed. You CAN take the projectors apart and try to mess with the shield but..ehhh...again I wasnt too concerned with a super-duper sharp cutoff. I haven't had a chance to mess with the bulbs but it might help a bit.

As far as light being put on the road....bright as ****.
