So i got my spacers for my rear shocks, got them in, all good on the rear now.

I wanted to get the preload set right to level my truck out completely, tried 3 turns which is probably 5/8"..didnt work out in my favor now I need to get more exact wire a tape measure. Visually my driver side looks lower then my passenger side haha

So i got a few things done, Ill add pictures tomorrow when i finish up.

Adjusted the kings another 2 turns to get them to 1" additional total. Should put the truck just were i want it, ill have to get it on some level ground...tough to come by over here lol!

Got my black headliner back in...damn that was tough to get in without bending it. Getting my black trim pieces from allmoparparts tomorrow.

Since i had the seats out to get the headliner in, i went ahead and took the carpet out. I had just enough sound proofing material to do the rest of the floor. I ran out of aluminum tape though, ill have to pick more up tomorrow.

I figure ill need another 35 sq feet for the doors, anyone know?

I would love to do the same thing but just don't have the time and wouldn't even want to know a shop quote to do it all.

Whats the sound difference so far?

M.Perez

I haven't tested it with the floor yet. With the roof and the rear wall I notice less wind noise and i cant hear the exhaust as much in the cab. I still have the stock sound system so its still not too great in that area. The biggest change will come from when i change my speakers, get an amp, and sound proof the doors.

I was looking in to doing this because of my muffler. I have it dumped and i like the sound but on long road trips my girlfriend hates it. Plus a quieter cab is always a plus, as long as i can roll my windows down when i wanna hear it.

Thanks for the info!

Gotcha, I get the same complaints lol but I don't mind it. I'll post an update when I find out how much it quiets down the exhaust with the floor done

Well you may want to look into an exhaust cutout. They make electric ones where you can flip a switch and have it straight pipped and then flip the switch back and the exhaust will run the the regular muffler.

Today involved quite a lot of cursing and ********! I got some pics for you guys though! Sound proofing on the floor is a night and day difference with the exhaust. Much quieter in the cab, at least around town, i need an alignment before i go on the highway.

The start

How I ended up

Covered up most of the wiring to give up a cleaner look

Of course the one day fedex doesn't come super early is the day that i want them to come early. They came extremely late.

So Benny was wrong about the black rear seatbelts, they were the same seatbelts I have now, black buckle with the gray triangle adjuster piece.

Back seats are staying out for now and the trim pieces are all out still.

Half reinstalled

Also got some other stuff done. Linex fender flares with red ceramic coated bolts. Got my ceramic coated fake rivets put back in my grill also....of course they didn't give me back 3 of them after having them for legit 2 months. Now i need to somehow source some more.

Truck looks awesome man. I really like the colored rivets and fake bolts on the grille, I've wanted to color mine but I don't know what color I want to go with. I really want to buy the spike bolts for everything. Lol

Also, how come you put your compressor behind the grille right in view? Doesn't look bad, I'm just curious why you chose not to hide it.

Thanks man! I'm not sure what color would go good with your truck. I have a whole color scheme silver, black, red, offset with the blue kings. Red calipers right? maybe go with red, or blue to match your interior leds? Im not really one for the spikes.

I really want to get the fake bolts on my fuel octanes done, but im not sure how to get the stupid bolts out. Looks like a challenge.

I put the compressor there for a few reasons. To keep it out of water/mud. It said to keep it upright to keep it the coolest, i figured that would be a good spot for both.
