So the trusty ram has decided to just start falling apart around me, yesterday the wheel studs sheared at 45 MPH and its blowing lines left and right. I honestly dont know if the truck is worth fixing at this point. What do i do? Its got over 200k and i just dont know what to do anymore! I need all advice you guys and gals can give!

Hey there forum buddy haha, The trans cooler lines are leaking, brake lines are leaking, lower rad hose, lines exiting the gas tank are leaking, all seals are leaking now, front diff is making some noise, the suspension is sagging, exhaust is leaking everywhere, bushings are bad, trans mount is bad. just about everything needs attention.

With that much going bad hard to say. The trans lines and brake lines could probably fixed pretty cheap as well as the lower rad hose. Front diff making noise is worrisome though. Exhaust rusts over time but a shop can usually fix that pretty cheap. What seals are leaking?

To put it simply, all of them. The engine needs a full reseal.

Unless it holds sentimental value it might be worth more to you to ditch it for one in better condition

+1 to over torqued nuts. Clamping force is a hard thing to judge, but oiling studs is a huge cause of too much clamping force. Every stud is different, but all are made to stretch to an extent. Once over torqued, they don't return to original specs like they do when the correct torque is used. Had new tires put on recently, or maybe a rotation?

I had my tires rotated at my college while i was searching for new rims, people needed things to do so i had them do it to waste time. I made sure they were torqued to specs after she was put on the ground and not an inch pound over spec.

Possibly an older problem then. Yeah once those studs stretch, they never return to the same size.

I have never heard of all wheel studs shearing at the same time. Me thinks there is more to this story. Also, did the owners of said truck ever hear of regular or preventative maintenance! No truck is going to reach 500K without conscientious maintenance, and a little luck.
