My father in law said the same when he drove my truck stock. He is still in the F350 6.0L PSD he bought new back in 2003. I let him drive on the way back from a fishing trip we had not to long ago because he kept commenting how 3.42 gears are too tall to tow. We were only towing the boat which is only about 4,000 lbs and I turned the tuner to stock for the first 50 miles. He was saying how the tuner I had really livens up the truck and gives it lots of power. The look on his face when I told him it was in its stock setting (besides the throttle booster) was priceless. I told him to press the button on my CTS screen until it says tow. I don't know what face was better, the one when he found out it was stock or the one when he had when when tuned. He was like a kid in a candy store the rest of the way back.
Although he did say that my throttle was too sensitive for him when the truck was in a tune, but it was exactly how I like it. I am one of those that wants more power if there is some to be had. The stock power was perfectly fine, but leaving it stock just isn't in my nature.
