Need help diagnosing what I’m guessing is a suspension issue.

Hello all. I have a 2015 1500 and the other day I noticed what I can describe was a slight “click” in the steering wheel while driving. It was very subtle and could be hard to miss. Now when driving I can feel it every time it happens, even when driving down the highway. I have been trying to re create what’s happening and I have Figured this out:

Upon braking right when the truck stops and the front end isn’t being loaded and the front end “come up” is the best way I can describe it I can feel the slight click in the steering wheel. I can recreate it about 75% of the time. Also today I drive around back through a grass field and while driving through grass, very slight pumps I can feel the “clicking” a lot. While driving on dirt roads of gravel the being that that’s rougher I can’t feel it.

I put the truck up on the lift and can’t seem to find any issues upon a visual inspection. Any ideas?

typically you are not going to visually spot suspension issues like yours, I would recommend getting a nice pry-bar and trying to load each component of the suspension by applying pressure - all while keeping in mind where your fulcrum is so that you don't tear up brake, fuel, cooling or electrical lines or slip and bust your knuckles

Although we cannot necessarily provide any technical feedback, let us know if you end up going into the dealer. We're available via direct message and can escalate a case for further handling.

Body mounts would be the first thing I'd check

No update as of yet. I’ll have all day Friday to take the RAM into my shop and check things out. Thanks for the input so far.

Some have reported water in the body mount so if you remove a bolt water may pour out the hole, Just a heads up. Also make sure you re lock tight it (blue)
