I'm switching from quads to TYC projectors. I have the wiring kit from the retro shop. The only issue that I'm stuck on is where to mount the two resistors. I'm at a dead stop. To the point where I'm about to just reinstall my quads!! Any ideas? I know they can't be touching anything but metal.

I dont think you HAVE to mount them..but the metal behind where the assembly sits seems good.

I hooked the lights up without the resistors and got the hyperflash. So I'm going to have to use them just the struggle is putting them somewhere that doesn't touch anything since they get so hot. I wonder if I could use double sided tape and stick them somewhere

I just crawled under and checked and they still appear to be holding well! If you are to mount them the way I did you will be able to tell once you start ratcheting them down that they aren't going to go anywhere. Hope this helps some people out.

Well you see here in Ohio, we are all hillbilliies. Yeap black white brown yellow, all hillbillies. Im a mut hillbilly, black, white and brown. So, while I may catch some flack for what I am about to type, I will proceed.

I mounted mine using two sided Velcro tape. LOL and I got say, it has worked just fine. One day I will mount them correctly, maybe after I take the duct tape off my Kitchen faucet hose and put on the new faucet I purchased 4 months ago. :-D

Ingenuity baby! Ingenuity!
