Could a line like this be patched rather than ******* with the whole thing ? seems like you could break the line at the hole and force a small thick rubber hose over the pipe and slide it over the break, then clamp it with hose clamps?

usualy a brakeline has too much preasure to use a rubber hose and clamps i dont think i would trust drivin on the roads with it like that

Thats not something you will wanna get creative with...for the safety of yourself and the safety of people on the road with you, it is better to fix it properly, by replacing the line with steel line.

of course, i meant that not as a permanent fix, just to get you home or to the mechanic

if you need to get it home, than take a pair of vise grips and crimp the line before the hole....

Great idea.. I already got a new line and hooked it up and bleed them. Works like perfect but thanx guys.

cool man, glad to hear you got it fixed. was kinda worried about it bein sunday that there wasn't gonna be any were open that would have the line
