I am new to this so i do not really know how this works but here i go . I need help with my trans .I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.2 engine and an Auto trans. my problem is the trans works fine under normal driving but when i go to pass someone and i floor it the trans kicks into passing gear as it should but when it shifts back up into 3rd it slips .if i back off the gas then step back down on it 3rd is there and tight.the trans was rebuilt 50000 miles ago and this is the only issue i have with it. is anyone out there that could advise my as to what is wrong with my trans.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
