Need Pic Of Hood Latch Mechanism

My hood got stuck in the locked position.

I got it unlocked but in the process the rod that goes from the hood locking mechanism to the release popped off.

I think I put it back on correctly but before I close the hood and can’t open it can someone confirm that the attached pictures show the correct installation of the rod or send me a photo of their locking mechanism.
