So I got a few questions. First is how the heck do you take off the rear pillar panels in a single cab and also can you paint over your overhear fabric?

Use a torx bit to take off seatbelt and the panel will pop out kinda like the dash does... It's held in with clips. Like the entire panel pops off lol

You might be able to use a fabric dye. I've used it before on a couple carpet pieces and it turned out fairly well considering I sprayed it on out of a can lol

How hard would it be to remove the headliner itself? Might almost be worth it to pull it out and re-cover it in black

Headliner is simple to drop, pull out all the clips and it'll literally fall on you. I did this same thing, ripped off the old fabric, and recovered it in a black headliner material from Joannes.

Hmm should I just recover it and leave the old stuff underneath it or should I strip the old stuff off. Yours looks great that's like exactly what I want to do

I should be getting black seatbelts here soon too. Lol. I would remove the old stuff, it may seem really thick if you leave it on, as youll have two foam backing materals on top of each other. Helps to have a wire brush to get all the old foam off.

Couple tips, lay the fabric on the headliner and mock fit it, and then lift up half of one side, spray the glue, lay it down and flatten it out, and then lift up the other side and do the same thing, being sure to make it smooth.
