Make it easy on yourself, call one of your local auto parts store, i.e. Advance, AutoZone, etc. to get the best price. Then if possible find a friend to jump Big Red, and take it to the best price Auto Parts Store. They will change it out for free. You've got more important things to do right now. I pray your husband feels better soon. Please thank him for his service to our great country.

Since the truck is a 2005 model, I would think that your husband would have had to replace the batteries at least once or twice during that time period ... I would open the hood and check the brand he used, and look for a specialty shop in your area to replace them ... If you are looking for a recommendation for a brand, I would suggest an Odyssey AGM or NorthStar AGM ... A dealer would be able to look up the proper product number for the requirements for your truck and engine ... Both are made in the USA ... I put a NorthStar AGM in my 2013 RAM and I traded it in for a new 2017, I had the dealership swap the OEM battery for my NorthStar and it was still going strong when I traded my 2017 on a new 2020 ... Hope this helps ...

Don't forget Costco if you have a membership. Thats where I'll be going.

Also, consider a battery tender since it looks like you have a full stable. I keep mine plugged in any time it sits for more than a week.

Yes, I have ben using them on my big boy mower, I’ve taught myself to use the zero turn, and this time I didn’t drive it up the garage dooor.

a tree fell, last time that happened 2002, I had to chainsaw it, hubby had fallen off the roof, broken collar bone, shoulder and shoulder blade in 3 pieces, so I get to chainsaw again..

I just wish I were taller than 5’2”..

so any thoughts on best tender, for these 2 batteries?

costco, 2 hours away

thank you, big time

Yep, Big Red is a good truck. I did the same upgrades, nav, led, cams, but I went with the smoke lenses on everything. The DW named mine Big Butt because of the dualies haha. Good luck with your truck and wish your hubby the best, Smokey
