Need some ideas for glare

My first post so hope I'm doing this right hahaha. Anyhoo I'm having terrible glare coming off the center console handle (chromed plastic) on my 2018 Power Wagon. I am no auto mechanic but, I think I can handle taking it off if I had a bit more knowledge or any other ideas. I have a newborn boy on the way and will need it down so folding it into the upright position is not going to be an option for a while.

Instead of taking off the chrome, maybe find a vinyl wrap of your liking and cover it up. Less of a headache.

I've seen a few people complain about this over the years but have never had glare off either of the gen 4 2500's I have owned? I always put a couple inch tint strip on the top of the windshield so wonder is that doesn't stop it since I have never noticed it?

Once in a while I get some glare. Not often enough that I remember I want to do something about it only when it happens I think about it. I haven't looked to see what's involved in removing it to paint or wrap it. I do recall more people complaining about the trim on the full center consoles being a issue then the handle on the jump seat.

I bought a cheap sample of vinyl on ebay, and wrapped it myself. It's a great match to the rest of the Tradesman interior.

Take a rife to your local tint shop. Usually the will do vinyl graphics too. You might be able to score a scrap big enough on the cheap.

This is what I just put on mine. Works fine and will protect the entire top of the lid.

I want to get rid of glare too but it's hard to convince other people not to put garbage LED headlights in their cars and trucks.
