New audio for my 2017R/T

The type R's should sound great with that amp.

What are you using for the Low end ? if that is it I would look at 6x9 components

I bought my first Dodge product and it is a 2017 Ram 1500 Sport R/T rcsb and I would like to have better sound . It has the Alpine system with I guess 7 speakers. No sub. The speaker upgrade (kicker) the way to go or different ?

Like others mentioned, the Kicker upgrades wont add, will actually decrease volume due to half the power.
Need 2 ohm if you retain the Alpine amp.

If you get a good set of 6.5" components and match the amp to them, you will have plenty of bass from those speakers. No need to get 6x9 components. 6x9's are good for bass If you cant afford an amp.
