So, when i got my 00' 1500, the front speakers didn't work, finally two days ago i took the panels off and figured out it was just the speakers were old and had no more life, so i got some Sony Exploders and it sounds awesome!
The rear speakers work fine but i'm going to swap those for exploders as well and get a new deck, and an amp, luckily a buddy has two free subs for me (1000watt)

not expensive, but sounds awesome, and i don't even have it near it's real power yet!
