Hey guys,my names Justin and I live in Beaumont,tx.I drive a 14' 8 speed crewcab with full bolt ons & Greene racing tune,hope to get it to the Track once I get slicks for my 17's.

Welcome, and good looking truck. You planning to bring it out to Royal Purple once you get some sticky tires, or do you normally run at Evadale?

Only time I ran it was at Evadale but it was a waste of time on the factory goodyears,Evadale just closed this past weekend so I missed the boat on that,won't be open again til end of February,I know RP has its last event this weekend I believe,when do they open again?Baytown is only like 45 minutes for me and Evadale is like 30 so it isn't much of a difference in the drive.

Baytown is open this Friday, and then they are closed until January 8th. We get some very good air in Baytown from January through March, so you have multiple chances to run on a cool night. Baytown does get very crowded on cooler nights though which is the only downfall.

We also get very cool air here as well,DA was around -1100 Friday night at Evadale from what a few people were telling me.I need to bite the bullet and buy some new 28x10x17's,was hoping I'd find some used but no luck.Could also use some control arms from y'all at some point,pinion angle looks like it's a tad off with a 5" drop in the rear.Im also curious to see how my 3.55's work vs the 8 speed guys with 3.92's,12 second pass shouldn't be a problem with prep.

3.55 really isn't a bad gear for the 8 speed trucks. I would put the money towards some sticky tires before swapping gears.

With prep and decent air, you shouldn't have any trouble getting in the 12's.

Yeah truck has full exhaust,vararam,clutch fan delete,thermo,ATI pulley,fastman over-sized tb and tune.Just needs tires and prep,will be in 12's all day.I swapped from 3.21's to 3.55's for free(long story..lol) and I love them,didn't lose any top and truck has noticeable more power down low now.
