New Guy with Common Exhaust Question

Hey y'all,

I just switched over from a 2014 4.6L Tundra to a 2012 1500 Laramie 4x4. The one thing I'm going to miss most about the Tundra was the direct bolt on straight pipe exhaust/OEM muffler replacement I had on for 2 years. It was easily my favorite mod to the truck under $500.

Now my question is (and yes I've already read through the performance forum before anyone brings up the search bar), is Carven the best route to go for a direct bolt on system? I'd rather not have to weld into the stock system when I can get a direct bolt system on for much cheaper, but I also want this thing to sound badass since the Hemi is a huge upgrade from the puny 4.6 I used to have, lol.

if you want loud , yes Carven is the one you want. If you want deep tones good at idle with good sound at WOT , Magnaflow 14" is great. I happen to have a Magnaflow for sale. I went to Carven R muffler, wanted a louder system, and it is loud.

same as far as gains. Do you want aggressive and loud or good deep tones and not as loud?

I definitely want something loud and aggressive to compare to what I had on my Tundra.

Then get the Mufflex delete kit if that's what you want.

If you want loud then get the muffler delete(straight pipe) or the small Carven. The small Carven sounds like a muffler delete but it has a little bit better tone.

Thanks for y'alls help! I'm split between the Carven Competitive Series and the Mufflex DODM80. I can't really tell which system sounds better since youtube videos don't do enough justice.
