Hey all, so I recently purchased my first ever domestic pickup today. I test drove all the diesel trucks ford/chevy/dodge and decided it was not worth the extra cash for a DD, I just wanted one for a loud black cloud spilling truck.

I have owed 3 tacomas and 2 tundras in the past and I was really impressed by the ram truck exterior and interior. They have came a long way so I decided to give this truck a try. I purchased my truck brand new today with a dealer installed 4" or 6" lift with 35" tires and bushwacker fenders. It was nice to have everything covered under warranty already installed. All i need to do now is black out the headlights and tint the front windows.
My truck came with a 32 gallon tank which I do not want to fill. Does anyone have and estimated MPG with a 6" lift and 35"s with the 5.7?

Well here is a picture from today!

Welcome aboard! Life could be expensive if you don't want to fill the tank, and have a lift and 35's :banghead:

Yeah my truck has the optional 32 gallon tank FML:eek: I am not looking forward to a full fill. Luckily I only live 5 miles from work.

If you plan to tow that could be a godsend. Better than carrying a jerry can around (like me)

Quick question regarding the headlight bulb type. My headlights are the quad type correct? using H11 as the low? Someone correct me if I am wrong. I am just doing a pnp kit this time.

Ive done 2 MH1 and 2 D2S and 1 FXR retro's and I am getting lazy again. When I have the truck for awhile Ill do the RX retro.

Welcome. Looks like the headlights are quads from the side but I could be wrong. I can't help you on your mileage since I have the 4.7 but I am getting 14.9 after adding the 35's and 5.5" of lift.

:welcome: From what I know the higher you go the worse the fuel economy is.

With my truck at stock ride height I get 10.5 to 11.5 around town and between 21.3 and 22.3 on the highway. So your numbers should be around those.
