it kinda worries me too kenny. it gets pretty cold here in ohio sometimes.

He is Texas but ya figure sand drags he did along with tough truck comp and hill racing jared it alot. Few of the Jeeps at the shop have fiberglass hoods but they are on street/strip tires and never see anything more then a speed bump or small pot hole.

mine is not a daily driver and a street queen. i just worry about cold weather.

i found some stuff daking put up on another site. he is crazy.lol

I really like a good made by sun coast customs. it's very similar to the venom.

also really fond of the venom! wish he made them for 2nd gens.

i like your hood too atx. does it allow cool air in?

gonna wait and see what they say on the venom hood for now. it seems that most everyone likes it. i wish someone that lives in the cold weather states that has one would chime in on it. i love the in your face look.

Yes it is a functional hood. I don't have the sealed cai. But it does put cold air right on top of the filter

always loved the sun coast customs extractor hood, was on my wish list for the longest time, if it was steel it would have been done, the fiberglass though just had me second guessing it too much to pull the trigger

Yes it is a functional hood. I don't have the sealed cai. But it does put cold air right on top of the filter

i wouldnt be able to use the sealed cia anyway. my airtube is a little different.

I want to say its a keystone hood. My dad does body damage appraisal for a body shop here. He got the hood from LKQ which is a recycled parts distributor and a partner to keystone. I've looked inside the hood and can't find a maker on it. I've googled ram hoods many times and only found one like it.
