new hood

so what is your fav aftermarket hood? cannt really decide. would like something functional. gonna get one here in the next couple weeks.

I dont know the brand, but I personally like the ones that have the scoop kinda like the old SS Camaros (2000 ish models). You know the ones that are teardrop shaped. They look sweet on these trucks.

I like the Shaker Hood thats aftermarket but have never seen one in person to see the build quality. There was also the Cowl Hood that the ram GTX's got fitted with but required body work to line up and have the correct gaps.

I gotta say I like the Venom hood the best, but the SRT is a close 2nd... I love mine!

That Venom hood does look pretty sweet. It would be between that or an SRT10 style for me.

I'd LOVE a Sport or R/T hood...I know many have it, but just like the overall look.

I was against them being fiberglass but DaKing has put his threw hell and dont recall him ever saying if it cracked.

The last versions of the hood I think were right around $700 plus shipping (I THINK)...now the older versions came with a little extra meat on them so your local body shop could fit them to your truck properly.
