Howdy Fellow Ram pickup owners.

I'm a new owner of a 2014 Ram 1500 Express quad cab 4x4 w/5.7 hemi
I got a pretty good deal on this beast and I'm loving it.
I purchased it from the original owner who opted for most of the options with the exception of the upgrade radio and seats.

BUT, I'm planning a upgrade to Katzkins leather seats and an audio/nav system including amp an subs in the near future.

I'm not a Dodge newbie in any way.

That is my old Ramcharger in the back.
The Ram 1500 will actually be the family vehicle for the most part because it will do everything in one vehicle. That being the case my wife will drive it mostly.

Sharp truck! I love Ramchargers. When I met my wife her father had a beautiful '89 with fuel injected 318 and a 4speed manual. It was 2 tone gray/silver with red velour interior. I loved driving that thing.

Old is right. Faithful? Well........
Fact is it is actually an '85 but the previous owner thought he was smart and swapped a '89 grill onto it. It actually does not fit exactly right but getting an nice straight grill for a '81-'85 Dodge is near impossible now a days.

The old RC is mostly stock. I swapped a 360 Magnum into it from a '96 van some years go. Has tons of power.
The down side to those older Ramchargers is these were the pre-overdrive years. To make them get some kind of gas mileage they shipped them with "car gears". The rear end ratio is 3.32:1. When you go to bigger tires; you just created a pig that won't get out of it's own way.
