Hello and I appreciate the opportunity to join the RAM Forum. The site information has already been extremely helpful in troubleshooting some issues with my newly acquired Ram's. I have a 2013 Ram 2500 ST, Crew Cab, 4X4, 5.7 Liter engine,6 speed (66RFE) Tranny, with the eight-foot bed. I purchased it in July of 2023 with 27 K on the odometer. Its not fancy, but a solid truck and has already made a non-issue five-hour trip with the car trailer to pick up my second Ram. Second Ram is a 2014 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab, 4X4, 3.6 Liter engine, 8 speed tranny, with a short bed. I purchased it two weeks ago with 52 K miles on the odometer. I have a vacation place on the Eastern Shore in the Chincoteague area and I'm hoping the 3.6 will deliver something North of 20 MPG on my trips back and forth. First order of business is complete fluid changes for both trucks front to back and checking out hoses, belts etc. I am planning to dump the transmission thermal bypass on both trucks first thing. Rims, running boards and some seat covers and hopefully I will be in business for awhile.
