Man after reading this thread I am chomping at the bit for exhaust in my new 11. In my 2008 Ram I had a magnaflow muffler with a x pipe and it sounded awesome. I want that sound with this new ram but I know it is a single in dual out setup. I hope I can get it. Here is a clip of my old truck right after I got it new and installed the exhaust.

Haha yeah your right! I absolutely love the way it sounds! It's like a new truck! I did a couple test runs... don't even notice a difference when the MDS kicks in. I really don't know what everyone complains about. But yeah man, it's great! Much more of a muscle car sound!

I gotta tell ya troup(,missed your post on my thread ''ecutout's''btw) I think ya got the video's backwards.....the first one sounded better it's prolly just me. lol. Nice work, and the old one? whatd'ya do with that?

Did you notice a big difference after removing the reso's? It's hard to tell in the videos. What about MDS without reso's? I have been thinking about chopping mine off.

I just checked out Mufflex's site. Love the idea of all bolt in stuff. Reminds me of the axle back I put on my GT.

You've had the exhaust for a few months now, have you ever thought to yourself "F*CK! I wish this thing was quieter" or noticed any annoying engine RPMs / speeds where ya just wanna punch babies?

I'm really torn between this and the 18". I love the 'loud and obnoxious when WOT' but am rather fond of how nice n quiet the truck cruises down the road. Lemme know (please) as I'd like to fix my stock exhaust issue ASAP.

I honestly don't! I absolutely love it. I notice a small change in pitch when MDS kicks in, but honestly, not much at all.

The 14 isn't over the top loud, and that's exactly what I wanted so I'm extremely happy with it. I wish I could show you the truck in person and you could hear for yourself.

When I get home from this deployment, Ill have my wife take some videos while I'm driving so you can hear what it sounds like when it kicks in. Should be home in about 2 months.

i got the 18" kit its loud and got louder as it broke in. If you like quiet idle then 18" is the way to go. Drone isn't too bad at speed when your not on it.

Yeah I'm torn between going a 14" kit or going full custom exhaust like I did on my last ram. It's more money but boy did it sound awesome.

What did you notice with the resonators off? Did the sound change? And how much louder is it in the cab?

Nice. Trup....some memebers have been wondering if removing the resonators made it more raspy. What are your overall thoughts on the sound change once you removed the resonators. I know you said it got louder, but anything else?

Definately not raspey sounding at all. My 05' got raspey-er with the x pipe, this isn't anything like that. Just got a step or two louded and deeper. Just sounds like it grumbles like a muscle truck should. But not enough to **** the neighbors off, or scare the motorcyclist in the lane next to you when you pass is ass! Lol

Edit: well on second thought, maybe scare him just a lil.

With 14" magnaflow Muffler AND Resonators Removed

Hope you like it!

lol after looking at that internal shot of muffler i now no longer worry about back pressure difference vs the muffler delete :p i dont think there would be and difference really lol, still sounds good though!
