Yup was definitely the original core in there. It was still good even. Only reason I needed a new one is because I crushed the one pipe coming out of the firewall while swapping engines.
And your more than welcome to come up here and check it out!! Haha or it'll be in the Columbus, Ohio area for the mopar nationals in August again this year.

I'm about 2 hours west of Columbus! Would be cool if I can get out that way.
I'd love to see it, but there is no way I could make the drive. Work too much and make too little.
Well the show is from August 7-9 at national trail raceway and I'll be there all weekend. If your around stop on by. We always park by the staging lanes for the track and my truck will be pretty hard to miss!! Haha
Ya I hear ya man. That trip is pretty much my one vacation I take a year. Only reason I can afford to go is because my parents and grandparents also go so I don't end up paying for the hotel.
I live 30 minutes north of Columbus. I used to live off Brice rd until was 13. My dad and I built a 67 belvedere T that ran low 11s and the technician who apprenticed me won super pro in 2001 or 2002. I have SO many Mopar Nats stories. Haha
Teach you to not use anti seize!Progress on the truck got slowed down a bit tonight since I had to swap the summer tires onto the little go kart. 2 of the damn winter tires were seized right the **** on and took a good beating to get them to pop off.
After that was done I got back to the truck. The dash is all buttoned back up other than the kick panel underneath the steering column since I've still got a couple wires to run.

Almost forgot to swap the VIN tag from my old dash until my grandpa pointed that one out.

Green looks good. I find it funny how you went all blue in that interior, right to the window switches and painstakingly changed them.....now you're going back to green. Also got my mirrors installed and hooked up. I'm still debating whether I want to get them and the door handles painted green to.

Oh and I also swapped my blue LEDs in my gauges out for some green LEDs so they match the truck now. Still need to swap the window switches to green now though.

I say leave the mirrors and door handles. Nothing wrong wit a little black breaking up all that green.

Lookin mint!

I have green in my 76 and love it.
^This.
I like the color matched mirrors and handles. Looks clean but that's my sense, lol.
