Looks GREAT. MAN i cant wait to do this.

It's not that bad. Fortunately for me, I had an extra set of headlights so I don't have to rush. That is key man..... you don't want to rush it.

But, it's been a fun project, and I am very pleased with the results so far.

Yeah, thats what i need to do.. I need to get a cheap set to run while I work on my originals, so i dont rush it in to a one-day project. Then i can just re-sell the cheap set again.

Ok so what to do about the reflectors? I'm thinking one coat of Nite Shades to darken them just a little.

I'd do 3-4 coats of night shades personally. I don't run them in my lights and I've had zero issue (you could just paint them black too).

These lights are coming along great! They're going to look badass!
Make sure you allow all that paint to out gas before you seal it all up!

Out gas? I painted it all on Saturday, and it's been sitting since.... is that long enough?
I am going to seal them up maybe Wednesday or Thursday evening.... and install prolly Saturday.

Yes. Over night is normally pretty good for out gassing.
But the longer the better. The chemical reactions in the hardener in the paint put out a gas as it cures, the majority of it happened right away, but it continues for a day or two. There is rumors that this outgassing can actually damage the chrome in the projector bowl.

Better safe than sorry!
