New purchase price: dealer lot vs. ordering

Hey, I've been looking for a V-6 gas RAM and on local dealer sites and don't see what I want. My nearest dealer has advertised prices that are $5,500 - $8,500 off sticker on in-stock trucks. Does anyone know if I order one (with options I want), would I expect to pay nearly full sticker or receive the same discounts they have all day on in-stock trucks?

You always have better leverage on inventory vs. ordered trucks. They already have sunk costs sitting on the lot, costing them a bit of money every day.

Or, I got $10,600 off MSRP on my ordered truck. Probably just going to depend on the dealer you buy from and their history of negotiating. Some dealers negotiate more than others, by a lot.

I got all the discounts that were available when I ordered.

Yes same ^ I got the same deal as I would have on a lot truck. I had to order because of all the specific things the truck needed to have lol

when I sold we treated orders the same as in stock because the owner was invested in the truck by making the order and deposit. Didn't see a reason to be unfair to someone who was willing to order out from us
