New Tails

Picked up a new set of tails from a local shop closing its doors last week and put them on today.

I'll get some night shots later. I also had some LED's left over from another build that worked in the backup lights. I may have to get some SMT towers for this position instead but we'll see.

Do they stick out?

The look much better then the stock bubble style lights

No, they have a smooth lens, much like the 2005's and are a bit thinner than the stockers.

I'm usually not a fan of aftermarket tails but I actually like these, looks great! Hella's?

They do stick out from the body line (as do the earlier models) but nothing like the stock ones.

Yeah, they are the Hella Celis tails and CHMSL.

It's "Celis" which is a lightguide technology Hella developed for the parking lamp and tail light functions.

I'll get a night shot with just the tails, then a brake light shot and you'll see what I mean.
