Had the to replace the new Pirelli Scorpion Allterrain Plus tires yesterday due to getting a new trailer, 2000lbs heavier than the old one. Loved those tires but couldn't get them in time as we have to leave for Spokane tomorrow to pick up the new one. Worked with my tire guy at Americas Tire and he gave me full credit for the Pirelli's and put on LT275/65 20 BF Goodrich KO2's. A bit stiffer but the ride isn't bad, wife actually likes it better, go figure. Disclaimer: that's not my adult beverage on the bumper, i've never seen that.

Nice choice !! And nobody is going to question the bumper beverage, unless it’s a Whiteclaw ... Then we are gonna need you to sell the Ram, and buy a Ridgeline

LOL! Funny story, when I bought the RAM a couple years ago a guy I work with saw me get out of it and complimented me on it. Said "I have a truck too" and of course I looked around and said "where?", "right there" he says pointing to a Ridgeline across from us. Uh-huh, SMH. He's the White Claw type lol

I ran BFG AT KO2's the past 6 years on my 06 2500HD. Very good tires, they did very well in the snow. I went a different route this year on my 1500 and went with Coopers.

I have KO2's on my truck - great in snow and terrible in mud - clog up badly.

So far I like both the STT Pros and AT3s a lot, but I haven't run either that much yet. I may have 3-500 miles on the STT Pros and I'll mount them back up in late Fall. I have a friend who's been running the STT Pros for quite a while on his Sierra 2500HD and I've been impressed. He's never had any issues in snow and goes places a lot of guys including myself wouldn't. I've only put about 3000 miles on my AT3 XLTs and about half of that is pulling my bassboat. I bought them primarily for the warm months and so far for normal road trips, hauling and towing I think they handle better than the KO2s that I've run year round for the past 6 years. First thing in the morning the AT3's feel like they have flat spots until they warm up, but once I'm a mile or two down the road they smooth out nicely. Both the STT Pros and AT3s feel really secure in heavy rain. Once I've worn the tread down a little on both sets , I'll be able to better review and give my opinion.

So just drove 900 miles to Spokane WA and I'm really surprised how nice the KO2's rode. I'm happy with my choice. Not to knock anyone else's but I looked at the Coopers, just didn't like the tread design.

The 275/65R20 is a great tire size on the 4G Rams. The BFG AT.KO2 is a great tire.
Solid choice all around. Just watch your lying speedometer.
