Hey guys my name is Mitch and I picked up a 2g dodge half ton recently.
I'll be the first to admit this vehicle is quite rough.
The dodge is a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500. Regular cab with the long box. 4 wheel drive and automatic. With the 318 ci v8.
It has quite a few issues right now.
I purchased it for very cheap (scrap value).
When I purchased the truck I was not sure if I was going to fix it for the road, or just use it as a toy around the farm.
To see the road again this truck needs:
3 tires.
One rocker replacement.
Steering gearbox replacement or bushing replacement (not sure which it is yet).
New/used bench seat.
Shifter adjustment (doesn't show proper gear on display)
Wires to hold tailgate at 90 degrees when open.
I would be interested in knowing if anyone on here is able to sell me any of the parts needed to fix the above list! It would help me very much!
I am an auto enthusiast. I have owned cars, trucks, atvs, and bikes before.
I am from Manitoba, Canada.
Looking forward to being a part of the dodge ram community.
Also of note, next summer my fiancée and I will be looking for a newer crew cab 1/2 or 3/4 ton for a family truck!
