New to Me 2017 Ram 2500 5.7

Hello all from Pennsylvania,

Moved into a 2017 Ram 2500 Laramie 5.7 Hemi from a 2019 1500 v6 Big Horn. Loving the older body style and excited for the upgrades I have planned for the truck. So far I have put in a 8.4 UAV UConnect, and swapped the stock mirrors for Boost Auto GM Style Towing Mirrors. Looking forward to some more cosmetic upgrades and potentially swapping the exhaust designed for a 6.4 hemi onto the truck. Reading the posts in the 4th gen forum have been really informative and I'm looking forward to keeping this truck for a good long while.

Question, just purchased a 2017 1500 Laramie , Hemi. I understand that the UConnect has been discontinued. Is there a way to connect WAZE? I have tried the videos on Andriod Auto and it does not seem to work. Not sure if there is a fix or anyone have suggestions?

Android Auto wasn't available until 2018 so you're just a tad short of being able to use it by default. There are threads in the 4th gen section about upgrading to 2018+ radios to get Android Auto/Car Play
