New to trucks really. Had a Dakota in the mid 90's but been driving older Jeep GC's and Minivans since (kids do that to you). So I pick up my 2014 Ram Sport on Tues. Going to miss the versatility of the van but towing is going to be soooo much easier.

What do folks suggest for a bed cover that is easily removable when you want to move "stuff"

Welcome Banger68,
I too am new to Ram. Never owned a Chrysler product period. Came from a 528i BMW.
I'm loving my new Ram Sport though. I bought a Bakflip VP and must say its quite a nice cover. I like the seamless look and its very easy to operate. Easy to install as well. Looks great too. Anyway good luck with your choice as there is quite a few out there.
Cheers!!!

I've installed an Advantage Hard Hat tonneau cover.
I like it because it looks like a vinyl soft cover but is actually a hard cover.
Also you can get it in vinyl or canvas if you prefer, mine is the vinyl.

Welcome! I have a BakFlip FiberMax. The BakFlip is a tri fold and folds up against the back glass to protect it. The good thing it gets out of your way when you need the entire bed without actually removing it. It locks with latches that grab the side. Easily installed in less than 30 minutes. and if you really need it off it comes completely off. I've never had to remove it all the way off and I've put some big items in my bed. You can put a motorcycle in the bed and not have to remove it. No locks to pick or destroy on the outside. It holds up to Florida's abusive sun also. You can't see it but I have a tool chest under it.

Welcome from another Ram newbie! My truck is in right now getting Line-x done, and a Bakflip cover as well. The wife has a Backflip G2 on her truck and she loves it!

Welcome! I have an Access Vanish siting in the box right now, hoping to put it on soon. I'll try to remember to post a follow up but if I don't shoot me a PM sometime if you're interested in it.

I'm using a BakFlip VP folding hardcover. As with Birddog's cover, it folds up against the back window so the full bed can be used. If you ever do have to remove it you can in 5 minutes by removing two screws at the beds front bulkhead.

Welcome aboard! Wait... you towed with a jeep and/or minivan?

Are you in for a treat now :D

Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk

Both ... van tried, was a little out of it's element with the boat, four people, the hound, and packed for a week at the cottage. Jeep tows fair, but not enough room ... and the ole Jeep is 17 years old. ;)

We are officially truck owners again. Picked it up today ... tested it out in a foot of snow that hit London.
