First off, not really sure what section to put this in...

I just bought a 2015 Ram Rebel. It has the factory air ride system on it. My question is, without causing too much havok to the factory air ride system, is there an easy way to get a little more height out of the ride? My buddies and I were looking at it and there are little connectors that go to suspension height sensors. Has anyone ever either custom made shorter or taller "connectors" to modify the suspension sensors, basically letting the computer thinking it is in "normal ride height" but it is actually aired up a little bit more?

I know that it probably isn't that simple but I just thought I would ask.

Thanks in advance for the insight!

You might check the 4th Generation "Lifted" section.

I have not seen a thread on lifting the factory system or adjusting the sensors on it here but then again, someone may have done it.

Subscribing to find out. I wish it could stay in off road 1 or 2 as well at highway speeds. Would be nice if someone made a speed sensor override that would let you run whatever height you desired at any speed.

BDS makes a lift but only for 4x4

if BDS is too rich for your blood adjustable air ride and bully make links for about $300 bucks,or for the diy you can make it for about $90.:)

BDS is the only one I am aware of, but it replaces a lot of components to accomplish a 4 inch lift and still retain the air ride... I don't know the cost, but it's nowhere as inexpensive as a standard type lift...

The Rebel was already modified to be 1 inch higher than a standard Air ride RAM... Off road 2 (one more inch) will only work up to 20mph... There is a design reason for that, I would not be messing with the sensors... If you really wanted to lift a truck, any RAM with the air ride is a much harder platform to start from...

From who I've talked to, the only reason it pops out of offroad 2 when Normal driving is experienced is for areodynamics. It has little to do with on road stability.

I cant seem to find the BDS kits. I saw the kits that are like 2 or 3k but not the adjustable bars you were talking about.

The options we have for raising our air suspensions are few as of now. There are a few pricey kits and a few body lifts that I have seen. The adjustable links are sweet but I can't justify spending $300 for them. What you can do is swap the stock links from front to rear and it levels the truck and even lifts it a bit. You lose the ability of going into OR2 as it breaches the factory height limit and will trigger a Service Air Suspension message. Whichever you choose to do make sure to properly align your wheels to account for the the camber that comes with lowering/raising.
