Hello.
I'm running a 2015 Ram Rabel car.
During the past winter, we recently carried out maintenance due to rear spring leakage problems.

The history of maintenance over the past time is
- Replace front wheel level sensor
- Valve block replacement
- Replace rear wheel level sensor
- Rear spring replacement
- Replace air suspension compressor
- Replace the front wheel spring relief valve

The rear spring issue has been resolved,
Currently, the front wheel strut is not maintained in height compared to the pressure.
The compressor also increases the temperature on the scanner, but does not increase the pressure on the air tank.
(We decided to exchange parts for that part.)
Nitrogen can restore front wheel height to some extent
If you drive, you'll fall down soon.

After nitrogen injection
system air mass 194 / front pressure 9.33 height -5mm, 14mm
after operation
system air mass 176 / front press 8.37, 8.65 height -45mm, -24mm (continuous pressure loss during operation)

If anyone has solved the same problem as me, please help.
Should I replace the front wheel air suspension strut?

Additionally, when F05 is removed from the fuse box,
It was confirmed that the compressor temperature increased on the scanner.
Is there a way to stop this?

Perhaps time to consider stopping the barrage of parts replacements and just upgrade to a new non-air suspension system and be done with the continued factory air suspension problems.

I am currently facing the same battle on my 2014 RAM. One front airbag losing air. Especially overnight when standing. Nailed it down to leaking between the airbag and shock (pressurized and bubbles appearing under water). Rust must be causing the seal to not seat properly. More trucks suffer from this.
Solution CAN be very simple and cheap. On Ali there are rebuild kits for around $30.
Only problem I currently have is how to separate the shock from the airbag. Top shock nut is removed but there is still no movement. Anybody ideas?

Ok, nailed that one as well. With the aid of a spring compressor, improperly used. With a bang it popped loose. Very happy. Going to order a cheapo rebuild kit and all should be fixed for $30. Just need to sandblast and paint the shock so it will make a nice seal. This may work for you as well.

First time poster here, and definitely not an expert in any way on this issue.

I’m just curious if any of the air struts or springs have been replaced before? 10+ year old trucks could just have worn out parts…. If it was a 2 year old truck, I would raise some serious questions at my dealership.

On a 12 year old truck, i think i would just be replacing the entire bag assembly with a new one (if i was gonna keep the air system) rather than try to rebuild it.

The air bag itself is still okay, only the o-ring is leaking due to rust on the shock. I considered the option of replacing the whole strut unit. But where do you stop? More than $1000 for a genuine part? Do the other side as well as it is probably rusted too and only one new shock may cause imbalance left to right? That is $2000…. Or go aftermarket and who knows what the quality will be. Parts are all China made. My best and cheapest option is ‘fix as fail’. This way I learned a lot about the system and can fix it next time way faster.
