Welcome to RamForum.

The big tires and likely stock gears mean you're putting a lot of load on that 318.
Likely you'd be able to spool a turbo regularly and easily.

A properly designed turbo setup would be great! That being said, there is NO way it'd be cost effective, just be a fun project to attack.

First thing I'd do is get a Boost/Vac gauge, install it (obviously you'll only see vac) and see how often you go to 0 in your everyday driving. If you're only hittin 0 vac when you're racing around being a putz, you're not going to spool up under daily driving conditions, making a turbo more of a toy than an addition to the truck.
