Hey. Just picked up a used 2007 2500 4X4. It was a National Grid work truck til last year. Pretty much stole it with 73K Miles. Got a little body rust & rides like a truck. Has a hit or miss oil sending unit & a leak during rainstorms on the passenger side floor. Needs a new plastic heater housing on that side as well, but I don't think the two are related. Has a spotlight & an amber beacon & it beeps when in reverse, which drive the dog nuts. Last MoPar was a 2K (Gen III) Solar Yellow Dakota Sport+ 3.9l 4X4. Had just short of 180K when I bartered it for some boiler work. This is my 6th MoPar. 62 Fury, 63 Fury, 68 Cuda, 95 Caravan, the Dak & now the Ram...
Anyway, glad to be in the loop with folks who know how good Dodge vehicles are. Hope to be able to wrench what I can, when I'm not riding the 14 Wethead with the wife, NYPGR or the Brunswick NY HOG Chapter.

First thing I'd do is replace all filters and fluids , just so you know what your starting with !

Thanks for the welcome! I DID change the oil immediately & put in Mobil 1 & a NAPA gold filter. I figured the power company kept everything else up to snuff after talking with a couple of their mechanics. They couldn't have them breaking down on the job, so the PM was a high priority.. Once it gets a little warmer I will go thru all the fluids & filters...
