Im new here Just got my first dodge, always been a Chevy and Jeep guy, but the current fullsize bodystyles between ford, chevy, and dodge. the ram wins hands down so I traded my 2012 camaro in for one 
I have 4 friends that work for ford all in the service department and I used to work for ford / mazda supply company. But I just cant do a ford!!!
My last fullsize truck was a 2004 silverado and I absoutley loved that truck but wanted a new camaro, sold it with 244,000 miles all stock drivetrain and 2 years later its still running strong, Im hoping the ram will treat me the same.
Currently I have a 2010 dodge ram 5.7 Hemi 4x4 quad cab
and 1997 Jeep wrangler with chevy 350
and a 2000 blazer until it sells
I just got the RAM 4 days ago with 50k miles and have put a little bit over 400 miles on it already, sofar im happy with my choice!!!
Truck specs are
1500 ST
5.7 Hemi
5 Speed trans
3.92 Gears
265/70 R17 tires
Trans cooler
Engine oil cooler
Tow package with trailer brakes minus the huge mirrors
Plans with the truck are to use the heck out of it.
Towing my jeep to the sand dunes / offroad places
Using it on the dunes and some light trails upnorth, (not getting crazy with it offroad, thats what the jeep is for.)
Towing my quads and snowmobiles
Towing my firends ford when it blows up the rest of the way
Daily driver
And just Having a awesome truck thats better than ford!!!
Only aftermarket thing sofar is Dynomax catback dual exhaust.
Planned upgrades over time in order of top is first to do
DiabloSport Predator Tuning (already have the unlocked programmer)
HID conversion
Backup camera
Subwoofer
Tinted windows
LED lights all around
3.5" rough country Combo lift
33" bfg all terrain tires
Some type of different rims
Vararam intake
Let me know any thoughts on the mods im looking at and any other good ideas what else you reccomend
