Hey all,

I'm now the proud owner of a 2016 Ram 2500 Limited Crew Cab 4x4 with the Cummins turbodiesel. Bought it to be my daily driver and and to tow our Keystone travel trailer.

It's my first truck, and talk about a big change! My previous car was a 3-series coupe with a 6-speed. Prior to that I drove a G35, a WRX, a Mustang GT, and a Honda Civic hatchback.

Had it less than a week but so far I absolutely love it.

She's a beauty! It took me about a week getting used to driving a full sized truck as compared the the Ranger I had before it, but you get comfortable with it.

Parking is the hardest as compared to a small vehicle.

Thanks.

Parking is a challenge. I've heard from "truck guys" that I have to get used to backing it in to spaces because that's the way to do it.

Backing up my trailer is a major challenge for me as well. So much fail.

Truck is to tall for the parking garage at work too....good thing it doesn't rain much in New Orleans....hahaha

Thanks, fellas.

Want a tonneau cover. From what I've gathered on here and looking around, I really like the ReTrax One MX. Seems like it will work well with the Rambox and I should be able to install it myself.

I have the Pace Edwards Switchblade. Had it on my 2500 for about 8 months (12,000 miles.) Great cover. Got caught in a very nasty downpour on the way down from North Ar., lasted about 6 hours straight. Water got in the bed only around the gate, everything else stayed bone dry. Not sure if they have a cover for the Ram Box bed, though.

BTW, Beautiful truck! The Cummins is amazing, miss mine very dearly. Enjoy!

Dang, you jumped in with both feet, didn't you? Going from small cars to a 3/4 ton truck with a travel trailer... that's a steep learning curve. But, you'll get it down. It just takes practice. Love the truck, by the way.

My advice, would be to take your trailer to a big, open parking lot and set up some cones to practice parking or backing around. It'll help you get used to backing up and turning around corners. Make little challenges for yourself and learn from it. Watch how the trailer turns and follows the truck.

PS. Don't take all of that the wrong way... just trying to give some advice.
