A year or so ago, I went down the rabbit hole with that error.. started showing up after dodge replaced the oil cooler. Checked all connections, replaced the throttle body.. then started getting oil pressure sensor errors. Turns out dodge did not replace sensors, just swapped to new cooler... but aside... they stripped out two bolt holes on the lower intake so I was pulling air.. bad seal. Replaced lower intake so the upper intake seated properly, new gaskets and it went away.

Probably not far off from failing. My jeeps oil pressure sensor failed at 200,000 km

Going to check it out when I get a chance.

I might of found something here

So I made and open point from the pcm to the main harness connector where the pink/yellow wiring which i lost the 5v on which is connected to the tps ops and a few other sensors.

From the pcm to that connector I got 107 ohms. There is still about 2 feet of tapped up wires to unravel and look for a short though

Whats strange is that I read 2.6 ohms from the tps to the pcm before the no start happened

I have some what of an update.

Finally brought it to a local shop. They confirmed my original throttle body was bad, but I also have a bad connection in my PCM that supplies power to the throttle body.

They reccomended to change the whole engine wiring harness, to which I said no ill just change the pcm connector. So right now its out of limp mode but can get into limp mode with the right bump.

They said it took the tech 2 shifts to diag this problem ( is that realistic). He said he'll only charge for 12 hours or $1600 CAD. It is what it is and ill try that pcm connector soon

Before changing any wiring, I would disconnect harness from PCM, check for any pins pushed out and/or corrosion and then hit sockets and the pins with some contact cleaner.
The CRC contact cleaner is like and electronics tech in a can.

Thats the CRC electronics cleaner green can?

Thanks for the update on your error code. Sorry it cost so much to fix it. So it turned out to be in the category of the most commonly used parts. I seen this problem on Aircraft, trucks & cars multiple times. Once they fall out of a certain resistance valve, it’s the end of that part.

This should be the final post

With the shop diagnosing my throttle body was indeed bad I also had lose connections in my pcm harnesses (no corrosion).

I could of probably replaced the bad female terminals in the harness but I ended up finding a parts truck to pull thr pcm connectors wired off of a 2014 ram 1500 3.6 4wd, I had to re-pin a few of the connectors inside the harness. After verifying all the pins matched where my original harness pins were I got to splicing and the used harness into my engine harness. Using heat shrinks with the solder ring inside was seamless and should work well at keeping moisture out as well as creating a solid connection. It was tedious work but after triple checking each wire before joining I got it all spliced in and the truck has been running great for a week now . No limp mode running like it always has.

Hopefully this is a long term solution, I couldnt even find an engine harness online so this was my only option, but im pretty confident in my splices.

Anyways hopefully this is it, thanks for the help and replys!
