No boost

2003 ram 3500 i get no boost even under wot turbo has the slightest play in it but I can hear the turbo whistling nice and loud while driving and i can easily get the egt’s past 1250 but I keep an eye on it but seems like lots of power otherwise

If it is making "lots of power", then your gauge is not working because if the turbo was not building boost in the cylinders your truck would fall on it's face every time you put pressure on the skinny pedal.

I put compressed air to the gauge and it reads but its reading lower than what my compressor says by like 10psi but it should still read some when I driving right? And what about the high egt’s I bought the truck recently and its a 6 speed manual and can blow quite a bit of soot but still seems to have power I just don’t know a ton about what previous owners have done to it
