Yep. Didn’t even make it four months. Backed right into me while parked and unloading.

That really sucks, but you have the person that did it? Bring it to the best body shop you can find.

I try to park away from the group, but some clown will move next to my truck when they could have moved two or three lanes away.

I saw this sticker on a ragged out SUV " I have kids don't park close to me, they will ding your ****"

At least you have been warned.

I hope you got their insurance info. If not, at least a tag number.

I have this theory that only the shiny new vehicles are magnets for stuff like this to happen too. AND I will only wash my vehicles by hand once to twice a year. That way the neighbors only have to watch and hear me once or twice a year cry when I see all the dings, bumps and the latest new scratches from the inconsiderate public. Oh, and the rest of the vehicle washes are at the self service place with the wand and many thanks to Mother Nature.

I never park near anybody. I only hand wash the truck as well. My desire to keep this truck as mint as possible is nearly a sick obsession. I had stopped all of one minute to unload then keep going before they backed into me. Just horrible luck I suppose. Thank you for the condolences everyone lol

Hope everyone has a great holiday by the way!

I agree! I think it all goes back to that thing they taught us way back in driving school; that a person tends to steer in the direction their eyes are facing towards.....so, these dingbats see a shiny object and because the people of 2018 have a cell phone/video game attention span, they are naturally attracted to stare at your brand new truck regardless of the fact they are driving a 4000lb missile themselves.....

The day after we bought Charmin (my wife's Toy minivan) we got clipped in a Walmart parking lot. We were in a handicapped parking spot so I still can't imagine how we got hit, there's half a parking spot on either side! Of course the person drove off. $680 in damages and we still had the paper tag in the back window...

When I bought my truck, I seriously felt like walking out with a ball peen hammer and just getting the "first dent" over... LOL

Man that sucks! Had the same thing happen to me, now I always park in the back 40 and hoof it in. If nothing else, it's exercise.

I usually park next to the most expensive piece of Euro-**** I can find. They usually don't want their precious ****-mobiles scratched anymore than I want mine scratched. Mutual respect.

Careful....the last time an American showed mutual respect to a ****, a war broke out.

My back bumper was scuffed all the way across after 2 weeks, people just don't pay attention or care anymore.

I've got a rough idea how ya feel . I had my 99 ( new ) lifted red sport hit by a one ton GM Dually crew cab on a sunny day . She said she never saw me coming while she was playing with he baby in the car seat , totaled hers and mine when she decided to make a turn and drove into the side of me going through an intersection. Nice job for a Reg cab Short bed Ram. Next was my Red reg cab short bed lift 03. The air head never noticed the light was blinking red his way and drove across in front of me like it was not even an intersection . Once again both totaled . Thats two , third one will get to know me real well . Getting tired of getting the short end of the stick . Some people ask why I keep buying Red and all I can say is I keep walking away from totaled red trucks , may not be as lucky with another color

I've only had one red truck and totalled it hitting a deer at highway speed. Only white since then and no accidents. White may be the safer choice.
