I have a 06 ram 1/2 ton w/ a 5.7. I bought it last month. It has a cranks, no start issue. I checked for codes, only codes were for the battery being disconnected a bunch of times.
I got 60 psi at fuel rail. I cleaned out the throttle body, then sprayed eather in it. It ran for like 10 seconds, sounded ok. I then used a noid light on one injector. It didn't light up. I did go get a junk yard ecm, no change !! Anybody have a clue what it could be ? Anyone have same issue ?

first off put the orig ecm back in they rarely go bad and you would of had to program the new ecm. I would have someone with a real scanner check for codes not a cheap autozone one. You are not getting pulses to the injectors it sounds like check all fuses confirm they are good another thing that comes to mind cam/crank sensor again with a good scanner you could look at some live data to see whats going on.

update; I put a way better scanner on it.It gave me the code for the Accelerator pedal sensor or whatever it is called.
i then went & talked to a local tech, he said change Crank Position Sensor. I also got a new cam position sensor. I put the crank sensor on today.
No change !!! Truck still just cranks. I plan on changing the cam sensor next. If anyone can give me more input.

Update: Earlier today I changed the cam position sensor. It made no change. Before, i changed the crank position sensor. It made no difference.
Early last month a local tech told me to get a different ecm, i installed a used one. It made no difference. I then reinstalled the oem ecm.
If i disconnect the ecm, & then reconnect, shouldn't it start ?? It tries, but won't. Do i need the ecm flashed cause i disconnected it ? I removed other ecm's in jeeps in the past, they always restarted w/ no issues. Also, i went and disconnected the battery, And used jumper cables going from the disconnected negative cable , then over to the positive post. Left it connected for like 10 minutes. then reconnected everything. After that, I cycled the key several times & tried to start it, still no change. I also had codes before, now i don't. Can someone give me more info ? Ever since i used the jumper cables, i had no codes, don't know if this is good or not . I don't plan on buying more parts. I do plan on now taking it to a garage!! Unless someone on here can give me better info !!
