Who's done it? I ordered a set of Sport headlights for my old man's Ram.

I know I could simply splice headlight harnesses, but what I'd like to do is prepare it to run 80/100W bulbs in both locations.

Then wire it so that when you turn on the highs, the high beam filament in both bulbs comes on / stays on.

I know I'm going to need 2 relays and a diode. Any clue where to get a diode / how to spec one out? I've never messed with one before.

I've used parts-express.com for other electronic parts. They should have what you need.

Technically, it kind of IS the same thing. 98 Non Sport headlights are single bulb, the sports are dual bulb.

I've seen a harness for this, but it doesn't have relays etc. I don't want to run 4 high beams off the stock wiring. That's asking for melting firey messes.

Here's an interesting twist (doesn't really matter). I received the sport headlights yesterday. They take a 9007 in the low, and a 9004 in the high?! Who does that!?!

It's fine, because they both take the same plug any who, but how very very strange...
